A Holiday Park with a difference

Uniquely set, Aberdunant Hall stands in its unrivalled woodland setting. However, unlike other traditional holiday parks, our countryside location allows the holiday homes to be individually positioned, whether your preference is to be secluded and private or a position that has the backdrop of the meadows as your view, Aberdunant caters to all.

The grounds offer over 150 acres of nature trails through the woods that boast waterfalls, streams and natural rock features for you to explore. You will also find leading from the park a number of scenic walks ranging from gentle strolls to more adventurous hill walks.

Each season brings a new feel to the park, during the spring the rhododendron bushes start to bloom spreading a blaze of colour throughout the grounds. Bluebells create a sea of blue in the woods and signal the start of summer. During the summer itself we see the vibrant greens of the oak and beech trees and a mist of pretty wildflowers seem to be everywhere.

With the Autumn the leaves start to change and the park takes on a glow of its own with a distinctive bright orange and red. As the leaves fall they form a soft carpet whilst the acorns are collected by the wildlife in readiness for the sleep till next spring.

History

The Grounds and woodland that are some 150 acres or so date back to the 13th Century when it was noted as being a Mill. The Hall itself was built during the 17th century with additions made in the 1800's being the original home of Robert Lloyd Jones-Parry.

The caravan park was originally developed on about 20 acres during the 1950's but was fully developed during the 1960's by the same company that manage the park today.
